The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.
Each participant will need to bring at least 50 rounds of ammunition for their gun and will also need eye and hearing protection. Please note: Live ammo may not be brought into the chapter house where the training class is. Please leave the ammo locked in your car until it is time to go to the range.
Upon successful completion of the course, each student will be given a certificate to record their participation. This certificate can be used with the application package for a concealed handgun permit.

If you are interested in shooting in the league, please either email email@example.com or stop by the shotgun range and register. The league will shoot twice a month for 4 months. The shooters need to shoot a minimum of 6 rounds but if you can shoot all 8 you can choose to delete your two lowest scores. Cost will be $15.00 per 50 shot rounds with $5.00 going back to the top shooters in each class. Class will be determined by number of shooters divided by a high to low class. (Lewis Class). We look forward to seeing YOU on the Dr. Green Shotgun Range. Please note that the range will open for regular activities after the last league shooter has taken their turn.
