Before obtaining a Virginia Hunting License, you must pass a Virginia Hunter Education Course!!!

This TWO DAY course is required if you are 12 - 15 years of age or have not previously purchased a regular hunting license.

You must register with the Virginia DWR at the following link:   https://register-ed.com/events/view/170356 as well as with the Winchester Izaak Walton League.   You can also purchase a student study manual, which you will need for the class, or download a free manual to print off yourself by following the link as well.  You must bring the manual to class.

Self-study is required prior to this course! Students will be required to read the Today's Hunter Student Manual and to fill out the 4-page Chapter Review Exercises prior to class. The Exercises are found in the back of the Student Manual and will be collected by the instructors upon arrival.
