Joining the Winchester Izaak Walton League is a great way to support conservation on a local level. WIWL takes on a common sense approach to today's conservation solutions. Through volunteering and support, we enjoy one of the most beautiful green spaces in the local area.
We all know that in today's world, families are often stuck behind an electronic device. Izaak Walton offers the greatest opportunity to get outdoors and bond as a family, creating lasting memories.
We have such an amazing group of members at Izaak Walton, you will not want to miss out! People from all walks of life enjoy our peaceful oasis in the eastern part of Frederick County.
Our Chapter believes in education and we offer opportunities to learn and train in areas of shooting, conservation, fishing... and more.
Our five acre stocked lake offers great opportunities for fishing. We have bass, trout, catfish, perch and crappie.
Our members are great people from our community. The perfect place to expand your network for your business. |
The Izaak Walton offers an opportunity for each member to play an active role in the community. Through conservation and preservation the great outdoors will stay great for generations.
We have multi station rifle pistol range, an archery range, and the all new deigned 5 station shotgun range. Our members that shoot all pass a safety and skills class, providing a safe environment to hone your skills.
Whether you want to fish, use the gun ranges or just sit by the lake and enjoy a morning cup if joe. The Izaak Walton will provide the beautiful backdrop you are looking for.
Members get special rates on our hall rental which is perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, off-site meetings, or any party occasion.
