The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. Students are encouraged to bring their own firearm to this class or they can use one of ours.

Students must bring at least 50 rounds of ammo that they will use for the range portion for the class.  Please note:  Live ammo may not be brought into the chapter house where the training class is.  Please leave the ammo locked in your car until it is time to go to the range.
